 The founding of the State Police Dept. in
1903 will be commemorated with a ball
and other activities May 16-18 at Foxwoods
Resort and Casino, Ledyard.The State Police
Alumni Association,
which developed the
programs, will serve as
the host. Capt. Peter
F. Warren, association
president, is chairman
of the Anniversary Ball.
Capt. Warren estimates that more than
1,300 people will take part in the celebration.
Individuals, businesses and organizations
that provide financial support,
he said, will be recognized in the official
program and will receive a commemorative
souvenir.
